Coach Byron Chisley

I am Byron Chisley. I have many experiences with the sport football. I have played football from when I was eight until I was in the twelfth grade as middle linebacker. I think my strong football history would be a great benefit for the kids. As a coach, I will teach the kids the basic fundamentals of football, and how to play with intensity and integrity. We will also work on leadership skills, teamwork, and good sportsmanship.

I have three year of experience as a coach, one year with the East Side Angles, one year with MYTSA Jaguars and one year with the Tacoma Riders. My strengths are everything to do with football and my weaknesses are not having enough kids to teach the sport to!

Coach Norman Dudley

My name is Norman Dudley. I was born in the Philippines and raised in the United States. I have been in Washington since 1991 and graduated from Foss High School. I have an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science and pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Construction Management. I have been married to the love of my life for 8 years. I work two jobs, one of which directly involves working with the elderly and disabled adults, yet I still find time to be completely involved with the children’s football organization.

I am a returning defensive coach for the Tacoma Steelers team. I was honored to be a part of “The Titanium Ten” who managed to be triumphant while overcoming obstacles. I believe in encouraging kids to accomplish goals against all odds. I believe in promoting positivity among children while encouraging sportsmanship and camaraderie. I love the game of football, but most of all I love to witness the pride that these youth discover within themselves.

Coach Kevin Mckinney

I’m Coach Kevin Mckinney. I’ve played football in middle school, high school and in my neighborhood growing up with all my friends. Football has always been an important aspect in my life. I’ve also played; basketball, baseball, track and swimming. Having been involved with sports all through my youth I’ve learned so many valuable life lessons - which I’m grateful to pass on to my players.

When I began coaching, “I fell in love immediately”! My goal as a Coach is to ALWAYS be a GREAT leader, motivator, teacher and friend. I always try to seek new information to learn about new training techniques. Being a good communicator and listener is critical working with youth. I provide clear instructions and feedback along with listening to any concerns and ideas from my players and parents. I want to give my time and respect to the parents as well because their positive involvement is important for the kids success. It’s also very important to me to keep my practices fun and challenging, help my players believe in themselves, provide a supportive environment and NEVER put down my players. I am committed to coaching and the team. I only do this job because I love it!!!

“Coaching is a profession of love. You can't coach people unless you love them.”
